Aldi Australia is set to bring back it’s popular budget version of a Thermomix – and it’s priced at a fraction of the cost of the luxury kitchen gadget.
The Mistral Thermo Cooker will be available at the German discount supermarket chain as part of its Special Buys on Saturday April 18th.
Shoppers can get their hands on the popular cooking device for just $299, less than half the cost of a Thermomix TM6 unit which currently retails for $2,269.

The all-in-one appliance on offer at Aldi comes with a two-litre stainless steel bowl, 10-speed mixing, 1000W heating power and an 800W motor.
The cooking gadget, which has a three-year warranty, also comes with a chopping blade, mixing tool and recipe book.
The Mistral Thermo Cooker functions as a food processor, mixer, steamer and grater as it ‘blends, chops, crushes ice, steams, stews, mixes, kneads and fries’.

The catalogue sale also includes other kitchen appliances to choose from, including a stainless steel dishwasher for $349.
The cleaning device features a sliding cutlery rack, a height adjustable basket and it also has seven wash programs.
‘Despite our careful planning, we apologise if selected items may sell out on the first day due to unexpected high demand,’ the ad said.
‘In the event of unexpected high demand, Aldi stores reserves the right to limit purchases to reasonable quantities.’
Stocks are limited and will vary between stores.
The kitchen appliances will be on sale on Saturday April 18th at Aldi Australia.
